About the Authors

Craig Sheaffer Craig Sheaffer is a Professor in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics at the University of Minnesota.  He does research in sustainable cropping systems and teaches undergraduate courses in agronomy.

Kristine Moncada

 

Kristine Moncada is a Scientist in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics at the University of Minnesota.  She assists on research, outreach, and education projects in sustainable agriculture.

Jeff Coulter

Jeff Coulter is an Associate Professor and Extension Agronomist in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics at the University of Minnesota.  He conducts extension outreach and research to help corn growers increase productivity and profitability while protecting natural resources.

John Lamb

 

John Lamb is a Emeritus Professor in the Department of Soil, Water and Climate at the University of Minnesota.  His research program was focused in developing nutrient management systems to improve crop quality while preserving environmental quality; he also taught undergraduate courses in soil science.

Jill L. Sackett

 

Jill Sackett Eberhart is a former University of Minnesota Extension Educator from south central Minnesota.  Her work continues to focus on the areas of sustainable agriculture and conservation efforts.

Jeff Gunsolus

Jeff Gunsolus is a Professor and Extension Weed Scientist in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics at the University of Minnesota.  His program’s goal is to develop a more sustainable corn and soybean production system by teaching principles of weed management; he also teaches an undergraduate course in weed science.

Amy Jacobson

 

Amy Jacobson recently received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.  Her thesis work involved genomewide prediction within untested and non-existing biparental crosses in corn.
